How this calendar works
Where dates come from
Every day we read release dates for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, Mac and Linux from IGDB, and Steam's own top wishlisted and popular upcoming lists. For a game's Steam release, Steam's store date wins. A game's headline date is its earliest platform; platforms with a different date are listed with it.
Delays and confidence
When a date changes we keep the old one. "Delayed" means the new date starts after the old window ended; a narrower date inside the old window (Q4 → Nov 19) counts as dated, not delayed. Confidence comes from precision and history: an exact day that never moved is firm; a quarter or year, or two slips, is not.
Popularity and deep systems
Popularity (0–100) combines IGDB follows before release with Steam's wishlist and upcoming ranks; "popular" is40+ and "most anticipated" 70+. Games with little following are left out. "Deep systems" marks strategy, simulation, RPG, survival and building games, from Steam tags or IGDB genres.
Release data and cover art: IGDB.com and Steam. Art is shown from the stores' own servers and links to each game's store page.
